es300 rear suspension
i have a 2000 es300, and i think something's wrong with my rear suspension
the rear passenger side of the car acts like its going over a small bump every about 20 feet or so
it gets pretty annoying after a while
i dont know what it is, i can notice it up to 35 mph, and i'm guessing its killing my gas mileage
any ideas?

I don't believe how the condition of your suspension can affect your fuel mileage, but what you're stating here is that your rear struts may be on their way out (i.e. strut assemblies are probably leaking). How many miles does your ES have? As like any maintenance item, struts age the more the car is driven. As a matter of fact, I'm planning to get the rear struts in my '01 ES replaced pretty soon (good thing my mechanic pointed out to me their condition after a brake fluid change a while ago)

AWESOME
i'm gettin new struts for christmas, tokico hp's, they're waiting in my garage till i can install em
i do think its hurtin my mileage though, cause the car feels like it goes over a real small speed bump in the left rear wheel every 20 feet, it has to slow me down a bit
anyways, hope the struts fix it, if not i should be gettin new sway bars too, if that helps
thanks
