Default Question about the console cooler

My 2nd LX570 has the cooler built into the console. All is good and I have not used this feature but was missing the tray that the non-cooler model had.

Is there a tray and mine was missing or was there no tray included in the cooler models? I use this area for storage and a tray at the top would have improved this greatly!

No tray, unfortunately! There might be something one could adapt to fit up there, but I haven't tried it because I don't want to mess with the cooler seal, etc.

That is what I thought. I was looking and saw some indentions in the interior side of this area and thought that maybe . . . .

I find that items in the area are cooled slightly, even when it is turn off. The seal maybe keeps these items from condensing moisture when you turn off the vehicle.

Default Cooler Box Tray

Found this metal tray at Best Bath and Beyond. Fits perfectly in cooler box, added some rubber stoppers on corners so nice snug fit.
