2011 LK 570 85k miles
I am looking to purchase a 2011 LX 570 with 85k miles. It is a one owner southern vehicle and appears to be in excellent condition. I am assuming mostly highway miles. Price is 38.5k from a non-lexus dealer. It was taken as a trade in on a new Porche Cayenne.
The other option is a 2008 LX 570 from an Ohio Lexus dealer with 81k miles, price of 33k.
Anything I should look out for? Recommendations? I'm not a current lexus owner so this is a bit new for me.
Thanks.

Pole Position
thats a very fair asking price on the 2011. Get a PPI done at Lexus and see what they say.
Ohio is right in the rust belt so I would definitely ask them for pictures of the undercarriage and see if there is rust before moving forward. I passed on some nice looking ones in Illinois and Indiana for the same reason.
Good luck!

Go for the 2011 - decent asking price. There are a few conditions that should be met, though:
Verifiable service history including the 60k "major" service
No rust/none preferrably on the frame. If so, it should be addressed and the frame undercoated.
No major accidents/some professional paintwork is acceptable so long as no frame damage or airbag deployment
Also, brakes and tires are a consideration- make sure they're not thin.
