A/C issue
Hello all,
Our 2009 lx just came off warranty. Unless it is immediately re-started, the a/c is not retaining the temperature and fan settings when the vehicle is turned off. When re-started, auto setting for a/c comes on but fan does not. After about 30 seconds, temperature setting reads 75 degrees and fan has to be manually turned on. Anyone have this issue?
Thanks for your help,
Luis

Here is a likely scenario of what might have happened:
Somebody changed the cabin air filter but forgot to put the ventilation in "Recirculation" mode. As a result, the filter was covered behind the flap, and the person changing the filter forced the flap open to access the filter and then broke the arm that controls the flap up or down.
This is one reason that can cause your problem.
