Maint Intervals/Synthetic Oil
I just had my first 5K service done on my 2009 LX570 and according to one of the shop foreman Lexus has specified 2 changes: 1) Lexus now specifies the use of synthetic engine oil and 2) the maintenance intervals will now become 10,000 miles instead of 5,000.
Supposedly the 2010 maintenance books specify the 10,000 mile interval but they have made them retroactive back to 2009 on all vehicles except the LS.
Can anyone else confirm this?
