Mysterious RCA Jacks on rear floor
2006 LX470
On the floor of our LX470 just below the little audio panel there are three sets of RCA female plugs (Red - White - Yellow) which, if they follow convention, are for Video(Yellow) and L&R audio (Red and White) and one 3.55 mm jack which is obviously for audio.
We bought the car used several years ago and I've just noticed these cables as they were tucked under the floor mat. The car does have a DVD player and video screens in the rear headrests. I have no interest in video, but would love to be able to play phone or tablet audio through the sound system.
Any thoughts on what they are and how to select them as a source?. I have searched the console and surrounding area for what might be a source switch.
Thanks,
Dave Davis

My DVD headrests have audio in and out on the main control unit.
I have mine wired so I can send video/audio from phone/tablet from the front glove box to headrest control unit and then the control unit passes the audio signal back to the amp so factory speakers work just fine.
Those could be the audio input and output RCA's for the control unit but not 100% sure.
You could try connecting a source to them and seeing if you can select that source through the monitors.
