Is there a way to play audio only through the Bluetooth headphones while playing a DVD? The whole audio system seems to be complicated. All I want is to be able to listen to the radio while kids watch/listen to movie in the rear.

Heck, I would assume/hope that the inclusion of the wireless/bluetooth headphones implies just that but there doesn't seem to be any way to turn off the video/audio in the rest of the vehicle

 

I tried and failed. Mine would not even play a video in the front so I can see what is on display (I really don't care for it while driving). But it should be able to let me play another audio source if the headphones are in use at the rear. If someone can get it to work, please let us know.

 

Called up the dealership and tried to have them walk me thru it over the phone. Amazingly the were able to do the split audio/video with relative ease...with a '17... but no luck with mine! It was late so we gave up trying. They said that they would look into it and try again.... I'm thinking that this is not possible with the '16? Dealer says that's not the case bec they are identical!
