Door courtesy lamp
Hello,
I'm trying to replace the passenger front door courtesy lamp on my 2001 LX470 and it's not as quick and easy as previous vehicles. I tried to pop the clear lens cover--and only the front will pry away--but it leaves it hinged at the back and does not open enough to reach the slightly recessed bulb. I tried prying from the back but it didn't separate. I didn't use a lot of force because I did not want to break anything. I did a web search and searched the forums--but can't find anybody who posted anything about the process. I sure thought this would take about a minute--but fooled again. Any suggestions?
