Automatic Climate Control Question for 2004 LX
I just noticed this afternoon that when the fresh air/recirculated air button is set to AUTO and the climate control system is set to AUTO, the system never goes into the fresh air mode.
Previously, the system would cycle between the two, but primarily staying on fresh air mode unless it sensed a bad smell outside the vehicle.
The car has 74,000 mile on it and both AC filters were changed at the 60K service and I will have them changed again at the 75K service.
Could this be because the filters are somehow clogged?
Thank you

There's a way to change the sensitivity of that sensor. IIRC, you have to have the AC/engine on but be stopped and hold that button down for a few seconds. Could it be that the dealer did some work and disconnected the battery or changed the settings? I just changed my AC filters yesterday (15K mi interval). They were dirty, but not completely caked. Only take about 15 min to change the filters.
