Default Non-obvious differences between the 460L and the 600L?

After doing a little bit of searching I couldn't find the answer that I was looking for, so thought I'd ask.

Aside from the following, what are the main differences between similarly equipped 460L and 600L:
  • Drive train
  • Headlights
  • Trunk space
  • Head liner

Thanks

nothing besides the WOW factor of hearing unknowing people say that they didnt know lexus made a LS600
and there is clearly a significant difference in the weight between the two. I am not sure but if i recall correctly i've heared people say that the 600 is a little bit quietier on the inside versus the 460( not 100% sure thou). And the most important thing of all are the hybird blue badge, lol

600's have...

All are AWD
Leather dash and steering wheel
Wood shift ****
Blue Start stop button
More HP 438
600's are quieter...my experience
Different wheels
An OMG effect when people see it and know what it is.
Very limited production.

You forgot one of the main features unique to 600...the CVT transmission that the 460s don't have. Totally different driving experience and loads of torque!

Only on the 2010's and newer. . .

As for the more power/torque etc. it's no faster at the end of the day 0-60/top speed/etc. and the hwy mpg is less.

Don't get me wrong, i still want one!

My 2008 has the leather dash. The blue start/stop button did start in 2010. I had a 460 and now my 600 and the torque pull at highway speed 50-80 etc is way better than my 460. The 600 is a slightly more superior car to the 460...there's a cost for this supremacy of course I could never pay the $40K premium if brand new..but I didn't pay really extra for my 600 buying it 4 years old at the time, so why not. Also, the 600 is usually guaranteed to have nearly every option possible. I have NOT seen a 600 without radar cruise, premium package II, rear door sunshades installed. The only features that seem to vary on 600s that I have noticed is having Advanced PCS with stereo cameras next to rear view mirror, PCS sensors in headlights and LED array on steering column for attn monitor vs standard pre collision system, rear massaging seats, rear entertainment and exec seat package.

Doesn't sound like there is much difference except in the driving of the car. What I mean is the references to lower center of gravity and more power. I have a 460L fully loaded as far as I know. I don't think I'm missing any option. I am jealous of the 600L and if I ever trade my 460L in, I will look for a 600L. But, it doesn't sound like there is much difference to justify the additional $40K when new. Used prices are totally different. It's one of those things that I thought I had the flagship until I read about the 600L. The 460L is flagship compared to most car manufacturers, but Lexus had to up the game.

The NEW price tag is definitely questionable. That why I found a 4 yr old 2010 with 15,000 miles on it. Paid well less than 1/2 of the original sticker price. I could not buy a brand new 460L with no miles for what I got this one for. When I I got my 600hL I was looking for a used 460L and came across this car, it was a no brainer to step up for a few $$ more to the 600hL. Well worth it for me.
