I ordered my LS 460 December 4th 2013. I spoke to my dealer yesterday February 7th. They dont even have a build date yet. I was told ninety days before delivery. If thats the case it should be on the boat on the way to port of Jacksonville. This is a ls 460 swb. Not the F sport. All imput greatly appreciated. Or am I being impatient LOL. Thanks. Bob.

Back in 2007 mine took exactly 3 months from the time the dealer submitted the order to the time I picked it up. If I recall correctly the dealer can only submit orders once every month. It may have been more frequently than that, but I do remember that there were specific times when they could submit an order.

I ordered mine in late March and the dealer couldn't submit the order until April 1st (car arrived on June 29th and ready for pick up July 1st). If that happens to be the case in your order, maybe the dealer didn't submit it until much later than Dec. 4th. Ask them when they actually submitted your order.

There is another recent thread here where someone has been waiting over 3 months (or more since he didn't give the order day, only the month).

I have been waiting since mid October and car is port as of Feb. 7.Arriving at dealer about Feb. 14. So it's been about 3 1/2 months for my F-Sport.

One other thing Bob, as far as "They dont even have a build date yet.", I wouldn't be too concerned about that. I don't think that the factory forwards much of any information to the dealer.
