2010+LS460 or E350??
Here I am so undecided again and I know it's going to bother some of you guys
but I want to make sure with my second largest investment so I'd like to hear your opnion.
I am looking for either 2010 or 2011 CPO LS460/CPO E350 around mid 30 price range.
With my budget, it seems like I can get 2010 or 2011 CPO LS460 with around 30,000-50,000 miles
or 2010/2011 CPO E350 with around 20,000-30,000 miles on a vehicle.
My family owns a Mercedes/Lexus/Toyota/Infiniti, so I know how great the MB quality is and how reliable the Lexus is.
I drive 80 miles per day and plus more miles on weekends which ends up about 2000 miles per month.
A CPO MB comes with one year/100,000 warranty, so if I buy a 2011 CPO E model I will be covered until 2015 or 100,000 whichever comes first. It is pretty darn good but I keep my car for at least 8 to 10 years when I buy a car.
A CPO Lexus, as you guys know, the coverage is also pretty good and on top of that, Lexus is one of the most reliable car up to date.
My question could be sort of dumb to some people, but nowadays every penny you spend it counts.
There's no such a right/wrong answer to this question but I would like to know what you guys think about my concern.

When I was looking for a Lexus I drove a 2014 ES, then the 2011 LS that I bought. The ES seemed claustrophobic in comparison to the LS. The LS has much more power and a better ride.

You can have any car you want if you follow some basic rules.
Lease a German car and turn it in when the lease is up.
Buy a German car with a CPO warranty and sell it before the warranty runs out, be prepared to be insulted on the trade in price.
Or purchase a LS and keep it for a solid eight years to a decade mostly trouble free. Even the older LS 430s don't look too dated and that's probably because they never went wild on the styling.

That's interesting you bring this question up because I just bought a 2008 LS460 and my friend has a 2010 Mercedes E350.
We were doing some comparing and here are our conclusions:
1. The LS460 has the superior ride comfort. I personally think the E350 is pretty close though. The LS460 is quieter hands down.
2. The LS460 has much more interior room and feels spacious (especially rear seats).
2. The LS460 has much better seats. The interior quality is better in the LS (higher grade materials).
3. The E350 engine power is a bit lacking.
4. The E350 has better steering feel and handling. The E350 is much more nimble, yet feels very solid. The LS460 feels big in comparison.
So far the E350 hasn't had any problems except replacing headlight bulbs (he has put about 20k miles on it, he bought it CPO with 22k miles). I think the Mercedes is more reliable than BMW, but probably won't do as well as the Lexus.

I totally agree with you, especially the last statement.
#2 You mentioned about the interior quality but I don't really agree maybe it's because I used to have 2007 GS350 and looks very similar?

Sounds kind of funny but do I need to worry about the sudden acceleration issue that happened back in 2009?
and plus I can't really find a crash test result of 2010 or 2011 LS460 model.

Yes, NHTSA released the findings on the Toyota and Lexus unintended acceleration investigation. Their conclusion was "pedal mis-application". The same media that tried to crucify Toyota with this scarcely noted NHTSA's conclusion.
