    Robert1408,
I read on the thread on the club lexus forum that you changed out your own upper and lower control arms using OEM parts on your. LS460 I have already tried the non OEM route on my 2007 ls 460L and 12k miles later I am back to having bushings that are toast. I agree with your opinion that the non OEM parts are junk. So here is my question. After you changed out the control arms with OEM's did you ever had any other issues with them for the duration of the time you owned your LS? At this point I either bite the bullet and get OEM parts installed or consider trading the car in. I only have 80k miles on my 07 and drive about 6k -8k miles a year. I would prefer not to drop the 3k quoted to fix if I end up having more issues with them in a few years. I also have a leaking front right air strut so I am considering finding a used one on ebay and installing myself. Seems crazy to spend $2500 on one strut.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Mike from AZ
