Known LS 460 problems and when/if corrected?
From a quick search I've ID'ed two major problems with the LS 460. Control arm bushing failing and repair costs in the $$$ thousands. Also some kind of engine Valve problem. Can someone tell me if these problems have been corrected in later years? If so when? Also any other problem one needs to be aware of when shopping for a LS 460?

Also developed a lack of acceleration at 53,000 miles and 67 months. There was a TSIB on this malady. They finally changed the heads, valves, seats and springs and runs fine now.
Both of these were covered.

Sorry about that, I am looking at 2011 or newer. I read about the problems control arms bad bushings and valve springs/ piston slap in 2007-2009. I wanted to know if Lexus fixed these problems in the 2010-2014 LS 460's? From all the posts I've read I have not read anything about problems with the 2010-2014 models.

In terms of the bad valve springs, it looks like it was only for model years 2007 to 2008 on the LS460. Lexus has repaired most of these via a safety recall. I was very happy that my valve springs were changed in 2010 at a Lexus dealer before I purchased the LS460.
I found out thanks to a post on this site to register my VIN at Lexus.com and get the history of repairs at the dealer.
