Speaker grill rattle
My center speaker grill in the middle of the dashboard makes rattle noises when the temperature drops. So in the summer the parts expand to be tight and no noise. As soon as the temp drops <60F, the parts shrink slightly and the speaker grill makes all kinds of creaking, rattling noises as the car goes over bumps, goes around turns, etc.
Does any know how to fix this?
Thanks

If possible I would remove the grill and cut out a thin piece of foam rubber or something else that would be pliable and put between the edges of the dash and the grill and tighten it back in place.

are you sure it the grille. I had this happen just yesterday and it was the very top of the dash. I just pushed on it and it stopped. IF it is the grille I would see if you can remove it and bend the edges ever so slightly so add some tension to the fit. Should work. After that I would say let Lexus handle it

the grille just pops out take a plastic pry tool and gently pop it up from the corners..but do it when its a lil cooler and be careful not to damage the dash material.. i usually put a terry cloth towel down so the tool doesnt actually touch the dash

I have always wondered if that thing was easy to pop out. In fact mine has a slight elevated edge . I may take it out and reinstall
