purchasing a ls460 2011 or 2012
I am planning to purchase a ls460 2011 or 2012 I recently joined Club Lexus and noted all the problems the members have cited. on the LS460s. I own LS430 with 48K miles which has been trouble free, year2003. What can you advise to look for in buying a used LS460 2011 or 2012?
I am greatly wary of used car dealers so, any advise would be greatly appreciated. Is it better to wait about 60 days and pick up 2013 LS460 when the '14s are out to take advantage of the discount if the 2013 is that much better? What are the keys to getting the best deal on trading in my 430 which is in mint condition?

Purchase of LS
Have a 2012 LS460AWD, and have experienced no problems, except the GPS compass only works in the "N" up mode. When you go to "heading up", it is 90 degrees off. This is a problem in a lot of 2012's. Have talked to dealer service and corporate. All they say is "we are working on a fix". Have owned the car 16 months. So I have pretty much given up on a fix. The "N" heading up is fine, as the arrow on the screen showing where you are heading is accurate. Had a 2010 and zero problems. On the 2012 I have most all of the options except air suspension. Air suspension has been somewhat of a problem on Lexus for quite some time. If I were you I would avoid Air Suspension.
