Default Rims Set Up Question: +15MM / 5x120 / 18x8

I have LS 460. If I am correct, the Specs Are:
Bolt Pattern: 5x120 | Center Bore: 60.1 | Offset: 20-25mm

I have an opportunity to get nice of TSWs.
Bolt Pattern: 5x120 | Center Bore: 74.1 | Offset: 15mm

They were on a RWD bimmer, but bolt pattern is the same 5x120. Would I have get get 74.1 to 60.1 hub rings?
Also I am not sure about the offset. These are 18x8 Rims with +15MM. Would I have get longer bolts and mainly would they rub the fenders?

Thanks.

its nooo way 18 inch rims gonna rub fenders unless your drop to the weeds! however you need those rings you mention to kill vibration. i doubt you need longer studs and if you did they dont make any.. ( been there done that). why u wanna rocks 18's i would atleast get 20's, but not here to judge aslong as your happy. post pics

I seriously and HIGHLY advice against 18's for an LS460. I think you will be very unhappy with the end result.

How much are you paying for them? I am sure you can find something better.

Have you researched using this thread? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...52#post7574952

I dont believe anyone is running that low of an offset.. get the OEM 19s with a 5mm akata hub centric spacer or go 20, 21, or 22...I wouldn't do the 18s..but please review that thread so you can learn about what works with pics

That offset on a 18x8 is fine. You shouldn't have any issues.

I'm betting a 15mm offset will extend beyond fender and look a little funny..stock offset is 32mm..but, if that is the look the OP is going for, go for it..if he wants to stay 18...perhaps the 18" LS460 Telios wheels is an option to pursue

CJITTY, the stock offset is 20-25mm. Its a RWD and not AWD model.

I did some research and other than 74.1-to-60.1 hub-rings, I won't need anything else.

Mainly was going to stay with 18, because I have almost brand new 18-tires on stock LS rims. The car is being used daily and in winter anything above 18 would suck. (Got to keep high profile for the snow/ice).

But now, I've decided to go a different way. An opportunity just came my way and I think I am going to sell my 460LS-RWD and get 460LS-AWD that is 2 years newer and has about 30K miles less.

I posted a picutre of the TSW rims, if anyone is curios/interested. (Incredibly light and so durable).

Thanks everyone for the info.

I am not sure where you are getting that information..but it is wrong. Stock offset on a 2007-2009 LS460, LS460L or LS600h 18x7.5 wheel whether All Wheel Drive or not IS NOT 20-25mm..the OEM offset is 32mm (et32) front and rear. I still think the 18 Telios wheels are a better option if you absolutely have to stay with 18s..without a drop and that low of an offset, I think you won't be as happy with the TSWs when they are mounted, but that's my opinion. it really is up to you at the end of the day. There are some OEM direct spec wheels you can get like I had previously made by TSW under the brand Lumarai which are exclusive to Lexus. They are designed for LS460s and come in sizes 18-20. You won't have to worry about hub rings, you can use your stock lugnuts, oem sensors and they have close to the factory offset at 31mm.

OEM TELIOS WHEELS 18"

Lumarai (Aftermarket by TSW)..notice the ET (offset) is nowhere close to 20-25mm

Here is the link, showing the offset is 20-25mm - F&R - for RWD LS.
http://www.streetdreams.org/wheel/fi...exus/LS-460/1/
I've been using this site for years as a reference. So far not one problem with fitment. However tire-rack is showing offset around 30/35MM - F&R.

I actually thought that Lexus would be similar to bimmers: For Example 5 series E60-RWD will have around 15-20MM, but E60-AWD will have about 30-35MM.

It seems that I was wrong.

Yeah, unfortunately some sites are not putting out correct info. Lexus and BMW share similar features like bolt pattern, but they have lower offsets in some cases as you indicated. That is why sites like ClubLexus is the best route to get true information from people who have been through numerous wheel/tire combos...that thread I started for people to post their wheel setups is meant for exactly this reason. It shows what people are actually running with pics, their success..their losses...it is the best research you can get. One guy just posted in there having the lower version offsets (15-20) of Vossen wheels that actually sit really nice, but he is experiencing crazy rubbing and took them off. Those offsets would work better on a BMW. Some wheel websites in the business of selling wheels, not knowledge, may or may not be truthful or just ignorant to the facts. If you take that oem wheel off, the back of spoke will say et32 or 32mm somewhere. Offset numbers are one of the most critical numbers to be sure about, besides the bolt pattern of course.

whatever wheel you choose, test fit on the car before mounting a tire on it..you will own that wheel for good if you mount a tire and then try to return it

I know i promote the hell out of this thread, but I know for a fact it has helped many members https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ls-thread.html
