Default ?will mustang rims fit a ls400?

i seen some nice aftermarket rims that are off a mustang and seem to have the 114.3 bolt pattern as the ls400,i just want to double check with you guys,is it a str8 bolt on deal? some 1 brought up that i would have to use come hub centric spacers because the inner hub Diameter on the Mustang wheels are much larger than the Lexus ones,is this tru????????

Dude,, give the question a little time to simmer. No one wants to give out wrong info.

From what I looked up on the net,, the bolt patern will match up, but the offset is a little on the weak side for the LS, depending on what year Mustang wheels. 05 and up have offsets that range from +35 - +45 mm. The center hub is larger on the Stang @ 70.6 mm so a good spacer or hubcentric ring may be in order to make them work. Used this to look up specs on the Stang,,,http://www.alloywheels.com/fitment.asp?Make=Ford

Lexus specs are 5X114.3 mm, and 60.1mm hub(center bore),,offset is somewhere +40 IIRC. I am not a wheel expert, so am sure some others will chime in.

depends on the type of fitment you want. generally mustang offsets are quite weak for the LS.

most mustang wheels are aesthetically poor choices for the LS since the mustang is a sporty coupe and the LS is a luxury sedan....

you could straight bolt them on depending on the year of ls. (Lexus used huge brakes on later models.) BUT ride will change because the wheel will no longer be hub centric. spacers or rings will cure the good shimmies you will have and gaurentee bbk clearance.

Nope, different bolt pattern, unless you use adapters or wobble nuts.

Some people just don't get much.
You said "well i got to find a set of stock wheels that will fit str8 bolt on" Why not just get some "stock" wheels from the junkyard so you can paint them,... what,?... black?
Or you can get whatever answers you need if you read some and search here; https://www.clublexus.com/forums/the...akes-forum-76/

Re-inventing the wheel is fun.

It isn't hard to find wheels really. Stockies are abundant and we've seen adaptations from BMW 7 series and Nissan among some. But if there are adapters available and customs if willing to pay, go ahead.

Default This is simple

93' LS400 with stock wheels and 225/60X16 Potenza's. Want to put stock LS450 wheels 235/50X18 with Turanza's. Will the 2" create any problems in handling/alignment or ride ? p.s. And I'm not painting them black.
