Removing Silver Engine Compartment Cover on LS 460

Are there instruction or does anyone know how to remove the center silver engine compartment cover on a 2007 LS 460L? Is there a reason the instructions are not included in the "Do It yourself maintenance" secton of the User's Manual?

It just pulls up and off, nothing to do... It snaps back on as easy as it comes off.
