far beyond just 19 to 10 speakers.. the ML system is completely different, drivers, amps, it is enhanced with surround and has better components. The premium system is made by Pioneer and its fair at best. The ML system also allows you to rip CDs to your HD and play DVDs.
How do you rip music to the HD???? Do I just load the CD and it will prompt me to do it??? The manual sucks at discussing this
The CD has to be in audio CD format i.e. cda format. MP3 files can't be ripped. However, I read somewhere here that you can fool the system. You can change the file extension of the MP3 files from mp3 to cda, then the ML system will think it's an audio CD and will allow you to rip the files.
I should say though that I haven't verified it. I'll try it when I have spare time.
for the dvd, put it in and it will play. make sure is in P AND parking brake engaged, otherwise you need ps override
to rip audio cd (cdda format), pop it in, play, and you will see the record button. i doubt changing file extension to cda will help though, it's two different format, if system sees cda (though it's mp3), it will try to rip it incorrectly?
