Wish me luck!
Just got a call from my salesman. He told me the car I wanted is in, 2008 LS460L sport, black on black and with the new glass? Is there a new glass out to cut down on the wind noise? Told me 5K off sticker of 80K so 75K sounds like a good deal to me. Also will give me KBB for my 2006 GS430 which is $40,400. Hope the wind noise is gone!!!!!

Me either! I know a fix was in the works for the windshield. So many current owners are reporting noise around that area.
I won't be ready for an LS for a while, but it would still be nice to know that the problem will be fixed before I buy one.

Good luck on your purchase! I recommend a freeway test drive if you can to check and see if the cabin sound level is good for you, given that it is a 2008 there are better chances that it will be the case.
As for "new glass," there has been part of the wind noise fix for the SWB only, the addition of laminated glass. However LWBs come with that already.
