I got a set of Premiers on my LS430 UL back during the summer and they are awesome! I have used them in the rain and snow now and they work just as advertised if not better! They are quiet and soft. Best tires I have ever had. I used to have the Defenders on my GS300 Platnium and they were great, but not as good. I had the MXV4s on the LS430 UL and I wasn't sure that there could be anything better. I was wrong! I highly recommend the Michelin Premier A/S!

I like the cushy ride of 16" rims, so I've had MXV4 on my LS for a while now. I was thinking of going back to 17" and getting MXV4 again at Costco. $129 for 16", $189 for 17". Don't the 17" technically have less material? Why the more cost?
Anyway, back to pricing, 17" Primier were $169, so $129 still better so i went with the 16" MXV4 again. Less than $600 all said and done. Not too bad.
I guess since the MXV4 are being discontinued, I'll have to try something different in about 5 years, so we'll see if these are still around and what the long term performance is.

I have had Primacy MXV4s since 2010. So far 50k miles on them and good amount of tread still left. They are very smooth and still very quiet. Only con is they are starting to have traction issues in the wet - at this point may be less than new tread depth or rubber compound aging. I may spring for fresh tires this spring or next time Costco has $70 off sale on Michelin.

I have the Premiers on the Camry I bought, 15 inch rims. These are nice tires I know they come with 8/32 tread depth but at 3/32 they do not hydroplane or slide on regular cornering in the rain(I think we got 5-6 inches in 3 days) and have worn even. Michelins are pricey but I like these better than the P7's I have, MXV4's, Comfortreds yada yada yada.though they are on 2 different cars. Now there is a H rated Defender anyone bought these?

Funny story though my wife ran out of gas had it towed to toyota dealer in Eau Claire WI. They came up with new power steering rack, and an assortment of repairs to the tune of 4700 bucks and, my Toyota dealer has come up with leaky oil pan gasket only(does not leak any oil on driveway). I see what you guys talk about when you descibe "stealerships". she says the car just came to a stop on the highway she had it towed and I was not available to talk to her "I was like did ya think of checking the gas gauge".
I can't talk too bad about em they gave us a rav4 for for the next 150 e/w miles to MPLS at no cost. I just said ok 70 bucks for diagnostics 5 gals ofg as we are good!

Think about it when you need work on your house (if you can't DIY). I needed a mason to repair the chimney. One guy said $750 and he didn't even look. My neighbor said he got it done for $500, but they quoted $650, and his wife still felt it was too much. So I got a 2nd quote at $450 and we settled on $400. I feel this guy is in the ballpark, and would use him again. He even stayed in touch with me last week, when he did not do the work because he said it was too hot to walk on the roof. Long story short, this guy reminds me of indie Japanese repair shops, and the $750 guy reminds me of a dealer...
