Default Seat memory with key (start up)

Hey guys fresh to the scene with my ls430 UL

Learned so much with the car this far, I set the memory for my seats with the door #2 and I reset the memory user on Head unit as well. However wen getting in the car seat resets to whatever position

Then when I start te car either keyless or key in it does not keep my setting
I usually interrupt the adjusting by hitting #2 then again to put my seat in "MY" position

Is this just he car putting it in neutral setting then you have to manually hit memory setting

I don't mind hitting it but it be nice to just get in and. Drive not putting my chair in my spot again

You need to read, or obtain if you don't have one, the owner's manual. If you don't have the manual, you can get one free for the asking on the lexus site. Just log in on my lexus and input your VIN No. and your info. On that site you can download a digital version and/ or request a hard copy to be sent to you.

You should be able to set your setting by holding down the set button and then push the button you want to store. When you hear a beep, the memory is set and you can release both buttons. The car will respond to whatever key it senses as you approach the car and will put the setting you have programmed when starting the car. This allows you and your other to not have to make any position changes regardless of who drove the car last.

no problem there's a ton of members in the 430 forums that adjusted there's sensors. If they didn't post it i'd shot them a PM they'll help you out on what to do. Heard it's not that difficult to do anyways. Hit up DSRxLoreto he just did that not to long ago i'm sure he can help you out with that.

What? Are you saying that each key can set different seat settings? I'll have to take mine out and see, now THAT would be a smart key (or perhaps a dumb feature?).
