That is a ML and the interior color is cashmere, not ecru.

Many of these cars were owned by retirees and driven infrequently or for only short distances.

Funny, the text of the ad also lists the price as $1k lower at 23999.

I am in the market for a 430 and have seen this car for while now (on the internet - not in person). Carfax says it was in an accident with body work on right front fender. When you look at the pictures, the third picture which shows the right front fender looks like the bumper color is lighter than the side fender. Could just be the lighting in the picture or it could be why it has not sold yet.

Yeah it could be just the lighting. In the 4th pic the back bumper also looks different from the left rear quarter. Light can be very unkind to differences in paint between different materials (urethene vs metal).

The report doesn't say fender, it says "right front" (see below). In any case I don't think a single panel replacement, and an easy one at that, would be reason enough to dismiss the car. One would have to see it and check it out though, there could be some other reason people have passed on it, or maybe it really is a steal.

First owner only kept the car 4 months.
It had two 4 wheel alignments done shortly after the accident. It also had all brake pads replaced at 16,000 miles??
Tires were replaced at 15,000 miles??
Bumper covers repainted most likely, but that's not a big
It's still a very appealing car, just some curiosities that should be answered before plopping down 25 big ones for an 8 year old car.
Both owners now in nursing home??

Yes but the tires were 5 years old. Tires can get hard with age especially if not driven on, or they could have developed flat spots.

The 4 wheel alignments is *suspect*. Years ago, my mother hit a curb in her Camry at 60mph when it was relatively new. It had many alignments done, but none could remedy a severe tire wear problem...the corner that hit the curb would eat through tires in 10-15K miles. I suspect there were suspension components bent out of spec, so the only way to fix it was to replace all the suspension components for that corner of the vehicle, very cost prohibitive. In the end, she drove it for 100K mi and just replaced the front left tire every 10-15K mi, then donated the vehicle.

Yup, alignments can't fix a tweaked suspension...only patch it over
