Default Parking Sensors

How difficult to replace, test, cost, pick up at a bone yard if expensive? I will have to spray my bumper anyway after biffing the trash can. Thanks Warm

Packman,

I hate how something so small and simple can be so costly. must be some precious metal incorporated in the sensor/chip. You may luck up and find one for a Texas 10. there are a couple of DIY posts to replace it if you happen to find one. too bad they arent protected better, very fragile equipment.

Sadly price has no relationship with cost. That is particularly true for these sensors. I suspect Lexus buys them from Denso for about $15 each and then sells them as parts for $200+.

Can you say captive consumer.

this level of luxury can become expensive,,

a shame replacement parts are many multiples of the original items price,, I believe in business making money but when is enough enough,, seems never is the answer,,
