Default Wheel fitment help please.

I now really appreciate what has been stated here about the LS 430's huge brake calipers.
Okay I did a test fit today of my 18x8" 40 offset wheels shod w/ 245/45/18s. It appears I need 7mm more to clear the front calipers. So if I run 10mm spacers, I get an effective 30mm offset. I would like to know if this will clear w/o rubbing? I plan to run NF210 springs. I can't abide ANY rubbing and would much rather get different wheels vs even light rubbing. Thanks if ya can help.

you should be fine. I have 20x9 front wheels with close to 30 offset and no rub.

Thanks for the quick reply. What size tire are you running and how much are you dropped?

I'm being real careful 'cause I just seem to have the worse luck w/ fitments. Even going conservative I had rub w/ my TL and CL-S.

It's been my experience that rwd cars tend to have more room in the rear wheel wells compared to fwd cars, like Acura.

Thanks fellas for putting my paranoia to rest.

Maybe the extra agitation was worth it as I was able to convince the wife that I NEED a set of OE 18" replicas just to be safe. Hmm...too bad she's so observant. She'll probably notice when I switch the blingy chrome jobs to the hyperblack set every few months.
