Arrow PIAA Super TERA Evolution T20 6,000k Reverse SMD bulbs

Greetings,
My new PIAA Super TERA Evolution T20 6,000k white reverse lights arrived today from Japan. Just installed them in the LS430. I have tried a number of different T20's for the reverse light application, and these exceed and are by far are the best i have tested.

Light is a crisp, clean and pure white, with very minimal blue hue. The brightness of the output is quite amazing for the chips used, far exceeding anything else. Without my light meter (which has gone missing) I dare say they are as effective or more effective than the OEM halogen T20's.

Through clever positioning of the chipset, a superior array is achieved. Integral design includes a heat sink, these are an awesome little unit.

Designed well for a reverse light, they do the job they set out to do very very well.

Also available as amber indicator, and error resolving and regulator module.

RESULTS:
Reverse(PIAA Super TERA Evolution) ON, Racing Dash license plate ON, brakes ON.

Reverse (PIAA Super TERA Evolution) ON, brakes ON.

Reverse (PIAA Super TERA Evolution) ON, brakes ON , further away..

COST: AU85 approx/pair + shipping

The amber turn signals, will they compensate for the reduce draw to not cause them to blink 100 blinks/second?

As shown above, the "error resolving and regulator module." will fix all problems such as errors and hyperblink.

Would you be able to post output of stock on one side vs the PIAA?

Holy those are expensive. I love the output of the T20 for the reverse but not willing to pay that price.

See, that's what I don't want to do, to have to tap into existing lines. Hasn't someone come out with a bulb with SMD regulators built into the bulb? I mean these things are not like so mini they can't do it... and for this price, it should be built in.

Anyway, I don't need a side-by-side comparo. that picture says it all... those lights are crazy bright... almost too bright.

You an probably run a modified flasher unit. Im not sure which one to use,i havent looked into that yet, but it will stop the hyper flashing. I think it will still throw a "light out" code tho.
Autolumination Flashers

There is also load equalizers that will work. You just have to find a mounting spot for them as they do get warm/hot, or extend the heat sink to dissipate more of the heat generated. These are very easily fitted an easy to remove.

Hope that helps.

Ps, another pic from tonight, i installed my MTEC 6,000k D2C bulbs today, and IPF 6,000k parkers.

Only throwing a code due to my replacing the high mount brake light with a Jap LED one. A equalizer is on the way for that. Those top lights are just the parkers, the bottom row light up when brakes applied. they work. Inner bottom row is for Fog or low visibility, they can be turned on or off.

How do the US tails light up??
