White LED for switch clusters.
Here's what I did using a little soldiering using 1w 12V LED singles by modding the socket base and removing the filament bulb and replacing it with LED.
No more green and and in place, a nice cool white color switch in the night time.
You can also make them glow orange like an AUDI simply by removing the 'condom' green caps off these filament bulbs too, but I just took the extra step and glued some LED's in place.

Hey looks good, how about ability to control brightness - does it get as dim in a linear fashion and in alignment with light output same as other lights for night driving.

The particular LED's used, I can dim the interior cluster lighting to about 80% of the adjustment dial and it will dim accordingly at the LED as well. At about 20% the LEDs will just stop glowing, but at this point the normal cluster lights also are so dim its barely legible. So all in all it is very acceptable.

Thanks for the update - lights look very crisp and as long as the new lights basically dim along with others it would certainly be workable - it looks like a fun mod to try.

You probably want the one that says "30% brighter than regular Neo - Wedge LED Instrument Panel Bulbs Type A, B & C" and the proper fitment for the switches pictured above is the Type B 10mm in white.
I would not get the double LED bulbs as they seem to not clear the holes on the switches, as its very tight fit, both length and the diameter of the hole.
PS: I did not do the Lexus navigation buttons since I have an aftermarket AV/NAV system, but I am sure if you are willing to take on the task of disassembling the OEM head unit and nearby switches, the result would be nice as well.

Just wanted to see if anyone has done this mod?
I'd love to update the dash, as i'm not overly fond of the green, especially the clock on top of the Nav unit,
I wonder if the clock could be done in white aswell?

I'm considering dropping mine into a electrical installers here, and getting every bit of green turned to white.
I wouldn't be comfortable doing any of the soldering myself, I know i'd mess it up.
