Considering Tinted Windows & Tails: Thoughts?

My feelings exactly and I didn't really want to swap to red/clears cuz Ill prolly get a newer LS soon. My biggest debate was whether I should go smoked or lighter smoked, cuz when I held up the light smoke it looked to light but no the smoked looks darker than when I held the sample up to my lights. I still like it tho!

I am so in the minority when it comes to amber turn signals. My liking of amber signals is more from a safety standpoint than asthetics. With an amber turn signal, once that light activates, you know it's the turn signal. With a red turn signal, if the driver happens to step on their brakes at the same time that they activate the turn, then for a SPLIT second, there's a delay in processing "are they turning" "are they stopping" "do I straight stop" "do I turn".
I believe it's the VW Passat, with the turn signal inside the round stop lights. When the brakes are initially stepped on and the turn signal activiated, you can't even tell that the turn signal is on because the stop light is so bright. Maybe in this case it's just bad execution.
On the asthetics, I like the color break up and I think the full piece red tailight hark back to the old days of the 80's and 90's domestic cars that manufactured their tailights all red from a cheaper manufacturing standpoint. So, when I see the IS250 with red turnsignals, I think of it more "cost savings" than real asthetic change.
