mk4 sc300/400 subframe in ucf10?
Hi I want to say ive spent a few days searching and have been able to see if anyone has swapped the rear subframe from a sc or supra into a early ls400... I have the diff with one dogear and I want to go to the 2 front mount style... the whole subframe isnt very much money and would allow different aftermarket options for suspension parts... any help on this would be appreciated. I will say I know the auto tt diff can be made to fit but I would really like to know about the subframe. Thanks.

Thanks puredrifter. Keeph8n the diff is not a direct swap for the old ucf10. The later ls has the same center in it but from what I've read the older ones have a slightly larger differential in them which is not a direct swap. I have a sc300 pumpkin to swap just wanted to know about the subframe tho. I appreciate the responses anyways.

Idk I read that the early years used a different diff size and it has only one front mount. Mine has one front mount and what im going to do with it I wanted the diff case that had two in front either way so its no big deal. Im going to be pretty hard on it and one mount seems like itll have quite a bit of movement...

looked into it further and it appears that I was reading bad information about the diff size. No matter tho I wanted the shorter gearing from the sc and the 2nd mount in the front of the diff case
