Default LS400 Bucking and Won't Pass 50% Throttle

So once I got the car up and running and got my belt issues figured out I have been driving the car, alot. Love it. First week I drove it, it drove fine and had full acceleration. Now, it will not accelerate past 50% throttle. I unhooked the MAF because some people had said this may cause my issue, but it will only go to 60% or so throttle and then just cuts the engine out.

The car when it starts bucking feels like it is trying to rip the drivetrain out of the car. It just revs and drops repeatedly.

Runs great with no load(will perform full RPM revs), and runs great driving very easy around town.

I have not done a tune up yet(plugs, wires, cap and rotor), I have only replaced the PCV valve and run a couple of cans of seafoam through the gas tank.

sounds like a transmission/drivetrain issue. how's your fluid level? changed the diff fluid yet?

have a fuel pressure test done first I think you have a bad regulator or pump because the rpm under a load requires more fuel and if there is a pressure problem you will run very lean and this will cause the engine to miss and not long from now the car will stop running all together and a tow is next in line.

Could be that something is plugged up.. Fuel system, for example filter, fuel line, etc. Or clogged cats.

There was a member very recently who described problems such as yours.. His catalytic convertor was clogged. But I believe he couldn't pass 2500 rpms after the engine was warmed up. Cold, his car operated fine. Once warm, whole different story.
