It's blinking because it's giving you and error code that something is wrong in the system. You have to count the number of times it blinks and that will tell you the number of the code I believe. Has the ac been cooling the car? It might be too low on refrigerant.

I know that sha4000 is not joking but it's an incorrect information without knowing the fact.

The correct method is to push "AUTO" and "recirculate mark" button at the same time as you turn the ignition to the on position.

I find some Americans inform others some incorrect information trying to help. I know that they don't have any bad intentions. I find those type of people on the forum time to time these days.

Default Yamae was right

That worked. I got an error code of 21. Now I'm off to google it! Sha4000 was in the ballpark so I thank him for starting me down this road.

Error code 21 is a solar sensor error. I can't believe a solar sensor would shut down my a/c compressor. I am going to try using it in manual mode and see if it indeed overrides that sensor.

Did you check under the sun?
The error code 21 always appears at not very bright circumstances and it's natural.

Read my post, I looked around for info on his issue and presented him with what I found. I qouted what someone else posted on the issue so he could try it. And what's the deal with the some American crap. That's really offensive!!!!You post a lot on this forum so not being a native english speaker is not an excuse since you've made similar comments in the past.
