air intake tube repair?
let me apologize first,i cant seem to find the thread that showed someone repairing the little vacuum line port coming off the side of the plastic intake tube (1st gen i believe).
anyways a customer came in last night with a 92 Ls 400..all Ls customers are directed towards me btw ,if im busy they wait until i can help. the guy has 385,000 on the car and the little line broke..so, i immediately found 2 for sale on ebay but they both had the port broken

..i had previously seen a post where a guy repaired the port.
btw the guy has never had an issue with gauge lights, trunk harness wires, seat not retracting on one side and has done the timing belt 3 times..i recommended a 4th soon. no ps leaks and has replaced the alternator once. hood doesnt stay up tho and the interior is thrashed..tranny works flawlessly. but it does have a few oil leaks.
thanks in advance

I also remember reading about this, I think it was for a home made induction system.
What I did find is on the link below which if the correct size may suit and be available locally at a pet store, remove the remains of the broken one then glue a replacement in with epoxy.

I bought a pack of assorted plastic tubes from advanced auto, brand was Vacu-Tite, I believe 1/4 was the correct size for both ends, working it down into the hole where the original port broke off, a little silicon sealant, good as new
