Question Can't find an aftermarket intake for a 91.

Hey everyone, I've searched and didn't come up with anything. I don't know if i'm just blind or whatever but can someone point me in the right direction. I did find that injen makes an intake for the 92-94 but what is the difference between the 91 and 92 or could I use the one for the 92? Thanks.

I read that injen makes one and the 90-91 are interchangeable.

I believe one of my friends with an LS4 got a fujita intake but i dont see our year on their website.

The injen for the 92-94 will work. It is still a first gen LS and nothing changed in these years about them under the hood. Truthfully, first gen parts are gonna be really hard to find b/c there really was not a market for the car. Lexus came here in 89 and during these years, the US was still a test market to determine thier potential success here; so aftermarket companies really did not start to produce anything for these cars until they knew for certain that there was gonna be a def market for them. You could also try modifying the stock intake with a home made one. Lexkost has a thread on how to do it. It pretty much works for most of the LS gens. Here is the link to it.

save your money, replace your filter, be happy

most of these intakes dont really HELP much. If you are set on the idea of a manufactured intake, then make a proper heatshield and duct in some cold air from somewhere.

search for an article JBrady made on how most aftermarket intakes (primarily on the LS) actually reduce low-end power.
