Differences Between 1992 and 1993 LS
I read in a review on Edmunds.com that "numerous interior improvements" were made in the 1993 LS400 over the former 1990-1992 models. However, it did not go into much detail. In pictures I have seen on eBaymotors.com, I cannot tell any differences. Does anyone know exactly what was changed on the inside? Kind of an interesting topic, especially for someone who might be shopping for an older LS.

What's New for 1993
Passenger airbag added. New alloy wheels debut. Brakes and tires are bigger. Styling is touched up, and interiors receive a host of upgrades. CFC-free air conditioning replaces Freon-based unit.

A couple more things..
--24 (or 25)MM brake rotors widened to 30MM.
--'Headlight on' light on instrument gauge.
--Automatic on/ off light sensing headlights.
--10" subwoofer (added in 1992 I think - as oppsed to 8")
--engine aesthetics were chaged a little (i .e engine has a "1UZ-FE" stamped platic cover.
-- Fully powered tilt steering wheel (1990-1991 had optional manual tilt)
--16" 225 60/16 wheels. (oppsed to 205 65/15)
--8 way Full power passenger seat (instead of just driver side)
That's all I can think of right now..
