Out of curiosity how was a bad wheel bearing diagnosed? You can get the entire new carrier for $260 and then just swap it out. You may be able to get a good one from a junk yard for a lot less. A new one gives you the added bonus of a new carrier bushing.

with the car on jackstands and with the rimstill on you can wobble the rim,i looked up the bearing at autozone they only go from $70-$90,i rather spend less than a 100 vs 260 for no reason??

You just have to really make sure you use a press and press in the new bearing properly. If you dont have the tools to do the job properly I'd either take it to a shop or go with putting the whole carrier on there. 260 is alot less than a shop will charge you for labour to put it in.
The book at my shop says to charge out for 2.8hrs for a Rear wheel bearing and at 110$/hr ( average cost for shop time around here ) thats like 300$ just in labour!

ok just came back from outside, when wobbling it from under the car,i dont see any bushings or bailjoints moving but its definitely moving from the center of the hub, so that means it is for sure the bearing right? could it be something else??
