Transmission Help
Hello
My 95 LS tranny is gone and it has an A340 in it I found a A341 from a 93ls on craigslist for pretty cheap
The question is will it fit and whats the difference
Any help would be great

I hear you lol Other than gear ratios I dont know either but I'm in a bind Do I shell out more money or drive my wifes mazda6 lol
Where did you read that at the differences

It was a post on here and I'm having a hard time finding it. From my understanding the physical dimensions were the same but the electronics and some kind of auto transmission part, maybe valve body, were different.

I found this Trans Although it was from a Jeep Cherokee it still has the same# as my car A340E
Will this work??

I can't see how this would work because the electrical connectors for the vehicle options wouldn't be the same as what would be on a Lexus. Also, are you completely sure that the transmission is toasted? Sometimes it may need a component replaced or just need a good thorough cleaning

may want to look into a transmission rebuild kit.... i'd much rather rebuild a tranny than goign out and buying a used tranny which may have the same problem in the future....
