98' LS 400 lacks power on incline!!!!
I have a 1998 LS400 151,500 miles. In July 2011 at 138, 699 miles, replaced spark plugs, timing belt, power steering pump/hoses, left/right lower ball joints, valve cover gasket (had small leak), rotors/brake pads, trans/engine fluid, K&N Air Filter, and cleaned Thorttle body.
Recently it's been very sluggish on incline or from a complete parked position. It kind of just loses power and it takes a second for it gain the power back. If I'm on the highway, I press the gas and it accelerates fine. Also, when idle there is a slight hesitation and temp gauge remains on high. I had temperature checked a few times and it's not over heating, sensor issue.
I haven't had any major issues with the car ever. Just don't know where to start. I'm not doing myself so wanted an idea of what it could be so I'll know if I'm being told the truth.
