noob from east tn
Whats up guys? Been trolling the site for a month or so and finally decided to join up. Recently just picked up a project '90 ls400 and im ready to get started. Its in need of suspension work (typical blown out air-ride) and a major detail. Only interior flaw is a crack in the dash and dirty carpet. No modifications have been made to the car so I have a good base to start with. Only mods ill be doing until winter is over will be either d2 or megan coilovers, tint, hids, and toyota rebadging. One winter is over ill be on the hunt for some eurolines 19x8.5/9.5. Anyways, heres some pics..

Wow that thing is dirty and in need of a serious detail job. Does it run OK? It sure looks like it's blowing some oil out the back. It could be PS fluid. On the engine pic I see the fluid where the vacuum line connects to the intake and on the other hose that comes from the PS pump. It's caused by a bad Air Control Valve (ACV) located on the bottom of the PS pump. Other then that it doesn't look too bad, for a 90.
