Wheel Adpator.. ???
Hey guys,
Some of u might know that I got the SC rims for my 98 LS400.. but the front offset is wrong.. the rim just stuck with my caliper..
now I have few questions to seek u guy's help; below is the statement I quoted from the H&R website;
"Wider is better. Whether you are interested in fine-tunning your suspension, increasing overall safety, enhancing performance and handling or making a statement about your individual style. H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers do the job. Why is wider better? Trak+ wheel spacers widen the stance of your vehicle,
hence, providing a lower roll center. This increases the safety, performance and handling of your fehicle through turns. How? These lightweight wonders move your wheel out from the hub to fill the gap between the wheel and fender. Filling the gap also provides your vehicle with a more aggressive stance and sleek"
Okay, let me start here;
1. If I got the wheel adapters and also want to lower my car will it rub? I got 235-50-18 tyres? the spring is Lsportline...
2. Look the pix... Did this guy cut the original studs? My problem is, if I can get 1 inch of the adapter that would be nice, but, I m not sure do I need to cut anything.. man, I don't want to cut anything on my car, today I went to the wheel shop they did put the 1.5 inch adaptor on, man... my car just look weird. it looked too wide in the front, just don't match with the back... especially our cars are RWD.
3. How u guys feel the adapters on Jetta? as to my situation, what's the approx. measurement should I put in the front & back? btw the LS don't have the over fender...
ps: I think it's too hard to sell these...also I just can't resist the time I put those rims on the back.. they look so nice!!!
Thankx...

I purchased H&R's wheel spacers from Rod Millen's site. Only took a week to get them. I put them on the rear of my '99 LS400 with 20X8.5, 245/35/20 wheels and tires, also lowered with Prokit Eibachs. NO RUBBING. I think it came out great! I had the front calipers grinded just a hair.
I have not put anyone in the back yet, except for my child. Still no rubbing.
