Wheel Gap
Do you guys think BMW and MB have better looking and tighter wheel gap than Lexus?
My IS has 18" stock rim and front wheel gap is so big. Honda civic with 16" wheel has smaller wheel gap than my IS.
Whenever I look at 3 series and C300, even on the smaller rim, they fit well and fill the wheel gap nicely. Hope Lexus will come out with nicer looking rim and tighter wheel gap for next gen IS.

I agree. The Germans design has better proportion of wheel arch and wheel gap. The fenders are not unnecessary big and the wheels fill the fenders very well, even in stock form. Our IS' front wheel arch is too big and the gap is ugly wide. Require bigger wheel and lowering of the suspension to make it looks right.
Overall I'd say the is is much better looking. Short, tight but, flared right were it needs to be. Plus I hate hate HATE the way the canopy of bunkers bulges from the car. The IS is slick and flows well with the rest of the body. The bunkers is an ugly bulge...but that's just mho
