Yes, with out a doubt. Does the size of the straw you drink out of control the flow of beverage?

subs? or just door speakers? I kno with all my sub set ups I run 0 gauge cable I've used 2 gauge wire before and had problems with the subs cutting out. i guess it all depends on what kind of speakers your talking about, in door speakers I cant hear a difference

If you have too small of a wire you will see problems, but too big of a wire will not help you. 0 gauge is way too big for any speaker. That's bigger than the wire on my stick welder.

+1

This is the facts here. You do not need 0 Gauge wire to your subs. 14 to 12 gauge will suffice.

you do need 0AWG if you're running power to your high powered amps however.

Its more dependent on the amp and power output.

If you are running a lot of current/amperage. The gauge of wire is also dependent on how long the run of wire is and how much current is going through it. You can drop a gauge if your wire is say 6 feet instead of 12 feet. There is a electricians table for current and wire gauge with the variations in length mixed in on the internet somewhere. Should be easy to find.

I am doing 400 watts and only using 4 gauge wire for power wire. My amp is a high current amp also. The amp can do 800 watts and I got that 4 gauge wire because it would handle the 800 watts the amp was rated for.
