Default Opinion needed...tail lights and paint - 90 LS400

I'm going to be repainting my 90 LS400 (same color, black jade), and am thinking about having the whole car painted the same color, rather than the two toned green-grey that it came with from the factory. I think the single color would update the car's looks a bit, but I'm not sure if I should do that.

Opinions?

Also, I have a cracked rear tail light on the driver's side, so I need to replace that piece. I can replace it with a used OEM lens pretty cheaply off of Ebay, but I've seen the aftermarket red/clear lights and think they may look good on the car. Similar to these:

Looking or opinions on those as well. Thanks.

Monotone on the car is always gonna be a winner. Clear front corners will also help to update the car. As some of the others have stated, beware of the RCR tails or silicone seal them as soon as you get them as they tend to be of poorer quality in fitment and will leak.

Single color is much better then a two tone. I had the front clear lenses on mine when I bought the car, they looked awesome but, he must have just put them on b/c within a couple rain storms they were half filled with water. Took 'em off, threw them in the dumpster. Whatever lenses you get make sure you seal them up.

I vote for monotone and RCR's with red vinyl over the clear portion to make them all red. I've always thought the RCRs look like Civic type eurolites.

Actually, that is a good idea. I like the look of RCR's, but something just isn't quite right. I love the look of the all red. I'm going with that.

And I am going with the monotone Black Jade Metallic repaint. Thanks for the suggestions!

I ordered a 30"x18" red vinyl sheet from bluebatmobile.net (Email: bluebatmobile@san.rr.com)
I cut it down with a little extra before I aplied it. I then ran my exacto along the divider so I only covered the amber portion of my stock lights.
