Hey Thanks Jim!
Here's a link to the Eagle Eye headlights on Ebay... They're still available if you're interested.
http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_...ts_Accessories
They're for the 1993~94, but they'll fit your 92 just fine. From there, you'd need to get 1993/94 9003 HID Bi-Xenon bulbs and a 1992 HID wiring harness. This way, everything will be plug & play with no OEM harness modifications. This is the setup I have in my 1991 and I'm very happy with it.
IMO, the OEM headlight lenses on the first gen just don't cut it no matter what bulbs you try and put in them. They diffuse the light in such a way that they're ineffective with halogens and / or blind everyone in sight if fitted with HID's...

I agree with you 100% on the First Gen headlight housing. That's why I originally looked in to the Eagle Eye (now iMotor I guess on eBay). I like the sound of your setup on your 91. It sounds like EXACTLY the setup I'd want on my 92. There wouldn't happen to be a step-by-step on this on these forums anywhere? And because I've been a really good boy, is there any chance that you took photos while you did your conversion? I ask simply because while I am fairly handy with simple tools, this is the sort of thing that I would only want to attempt if I had literally "step-by-step" detailed instructions with photos. I'd really love to do this, as the OEM first gen headlight setup is very bad.
In any event, could I impose upon you to post photos of your setup as it is now? For now, I'd be happy just to see what these puppies look like installed. They look magnificent on eBay, but the proof, as they say, is in the pudding.
(I actually like the way the OEM corners look. Also, I'd like to keep the yellow fogs. But yeah, I love the headlights that you posted.)

if u get the eagle eyes u wont wanna use the yellows unless u r in the fog all of the time...when i hit the inner lights on the eagle eyes it completely blankets the outter edges of the road and traveling through the mountains it is very useful as i hardly ever have to use my brights and it doesnt blind incoming traffic. the only draw back or trade off is...the corners are ugly

I'm not a fan of the corners either. I tried the Eagle Eyes with the OEM corners and I didn't like them either. Neither corner looks great, but I opted to go with the Eagle Eye corners in the end. The OEM corners looked dated to me with the Eagle Eye's and the new corners are somewhat ugly.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pic's of the install but I can tell you that it is extremely easy to install them. I don't have the fogs hooked up right now. I plan to install low wattage LED H3 bulbs and use the fogs as DRL's. I have the bulbs, just need to wire them in.
I'll take a pic of the Eagle Eye's installed so you get an idea of what they look like.

Jim: Very sharp
Thanks Jim. That is one very sharp, very clean LS you got there. The Eagle Eyes look very, very nice. I want a set. Although hard to compare from your pics, they do appear to be much, much brighter than the OEMs.
The lights in the bumper ("position lights" I guess they are called): Which ones did you buy, where did you get them? Do they work well? Do they leak? I want a set of those for mine as well.
Very clean ride, Mr. Jim. You should be proud.

Also the clear turn lights are fairly cheap on ebay. I also went and did clear tails too. Really makes a difference.
