Hello all,

i just bought a set of clear front bumper lights and i'm not sure how to change that. i'm also buying a set of clear taillights and again i do not know how to put them on. Does anyone have any idea how to do that.

One more thing is the emblems on my car is all faded out. It used to be gold plated but now it is not. so i'm thinking about buying a new set of either black or chrome emblems. Does anyone know where to buy it? i do not want to go to the dealership because they are going to rip me off for sure. so, help me out here!!

I have a gold strip sticker on the side of my car and it is in kinda gold color. i want to take it off if i'm going to put the new emblems on. it would look stupid, dont you think? gold and chrome/ black on the same car. :-) i was wondering if i could take it off myself. would it leave glue or stain on my car finish? should i just take it to the bodyshop and have them worked on it?

My dealer sells emblems for around $22 - $28 per peice, so for all 4 peices, around $100. This is actually cheaper than I have found on the net...

Are you talking about gold pinstriping on the sides of your car?

Yes it is the gold strip on the side of the car. Yesterday i put on the new clear corner lights and they look really good on my car. My car is in Moonstone gray color. only one thing that bugs me is the Gold emblems. :-( :-( Need to get rid of those emblems quick!!

Just asked my dealer about the gold pinstripe on my LS400 it is ugly polish on it in the edges.I was quoted about $200 to take the paper tape off and there detailer to PAINT a gold pinstripe on a little buffing will remove the adhesive. How diid the previous owner tolerate this being chauffered probably didn't care.

How hard is it to remove the emblems and put new ones on I have chrome but I like the blackout style.

depends on what year your car is, the emblems just have adhesive on them, use fishing line or something to cut the adhesive and get the emblems off. If your car is newer, the "lexus" and "L" may have pegs behind them, but the pegs are used to help line up the emblems, not hold them on. And like i said earlier, the emblems are $22-$28 per emblem.

And the black pearl emblems are only a few dollars more...

I have a 95 also. Where did you get the corner lights? I won an auction on e bay, but procarparts.com never replied to any of my e mails and I couldn't reach them by phone. Can you send me a picture of your 95 with the clear corner lights or post them here? GTPED@msn.com

Hi I live in Australia, and I drive a 93 Ls400, I would like to fit the black pearl logos but they are not available here or so ive been told, if anyone could tell me the american part Nos so that I could order them from over there I would much appreciate.

Thanks mate I will look him up, I want to start doing some (sacriligeous according to the dealer I spoke to) modifications to my sedan. Is it possible to reprogram the ecu`s? I dont really want to put in a motec unless I have to. Also I will post some pics of the boat My Brothers and my old man built when I get to the nearest available scanner (1600km away).
It runs twin autorotor superchargers on a 1uzfe pumping out a dynoed 1000 or so horsepower. We are still using standard rods and crank, it sucks 9 litres a minute of C16at 6000 rpm and 40psi with a static 6:1 comp. I dont want to go quite as extreme with my car but it definitly needs boost.
