Audio wiring question
I am thinking about upgrading the Nakamichi deck in my LS400 (volume **** is not working right). I have a question about the wiring for the audio system. Is the low pass filter for the sub and high pass filter for the tweeters etc inside the deck or are they inline near the speakers? If I keep the Nakamichi deck and want to add a sub, how hard is it to tap the subwoofer speaker line?
Does anyone else notice the lack of bass (even with the subwoofer) in the 90-94 LS400?

So do you have the stock deck? How did you hook up the sub amp to the deck? BTW I would just bypass the Comps and get a Solobaric. You can find good deals on eBay. Maybe instead of getting a 12 Comp you can get a 10" solo. Or instead of 2 12's get a 15" solo (I have this one and it is LOUD!!). Actually a 12" solo would probably bump harder than 2-12" Comps. Also you don't need a big box for them especially if you are going to use a sealed box.
