Default How to test LCD screen?

I ripped this off a LS400 at my dads shop and i'm not quite sure how to test it off the car, I have some potential buyers that want to ensure the screen is working and I don't want to send anything until I can ensure that it is functioning properly.

Thanks in advance,
J

im assuming there is no easy answer here. How about any visual signs that it may be dead?

giving people an hour to answer doesnt mean there is no answer, it just means that you are rather impatient.

do you want to test the LCD on the climate control or the radio?

I might seem impatient but when theres over 2000 knowledgeable users online and my question gets over looked I start to wonder.

Aesthetically this thing is mint but the car did have 175k on the odo. I think the proper thing to do would to price it low and as-is. No risk, no reward. Am I wrong?

I also saved the very clean 1uz if anyone needs a block/head or any components that might remain

1 hour is not looked over, those 2000 users dont exist to solve your one minor problem, hell most of them cant solve their own problems hence they, like you, came onto the forum to learn more and network.

have PATIENCE.

Just because it has 175K does not mean it is bad. If you could find the pinouts on the back, you could supply it 12 volts. Probably will have to put it in a car.
