Knock sensor issues!

Knock sensor issues!
hey,
Just signed up for club Lexus when i found it while looking for answers to my knock sensor issues. I tore apart the entire top end down to the block and heads to replace the starter and found that both my knock sensors are broken off. I then found that they cost 200 dollars a piece. So heres the question. Will my car run properly if i DO NOT hook the sensor back up right now? Tight on cash flow and its my only car.
