22inch on 2.5LS? Yay or nay?
I've came across some great deals for 22" wheels when looking for 20". Searched the forum and all I saw was people with 20". With those cars, I see that they still have more room (before the drop, of course). So, I just wonder if I can put 22" on my 98LS. Would test fit them and answer the question myself, but they are all long distance sells, so I can't try them out before purchasing them. And help, suggestion and advice are greatly welcomed. I know 20" looked niced, but want to see how 22" looks like on our car. Any experiences? Thanks.

I'm not really want to go that big, but seems like there are some 22" out there that I can get for even cheaper than 20". Don't have all the money to just buy brand new ones from the stores. So I was shopping on mostly craigslist and found a few of them for around $800 or less. I know 20 is a perfect fit for the car. I'm just needing your point of view to help me out on debating on if getting 22 is a bad idea or not. And thanks Li Ls4 for the pics. That looks like some tight fit on there. Any problem with the fenders and tires? Did you have to use spacer on those wheels?

Agreed 22's are big , the right rim they might look nice but the front will never be able to turn full lock with out major modifications without flipping the fender inside out as my friend who did it to his. 20's up front and 22's in the back , is possible .

x2. they would look ridiculous, and the whole body of the car would be lifted becuase of them, making it look like a truck. you'd have more ground clearance than my Jeep!

and then there's always this too.... just becuase they're big and chrome doesn't mean they're quality. i'd rather have a quality set of 18's than a generic set of 22's.
