Hey guys i'm looking to fully build my suspension with the available products. I have decided on megan coilovers and I was looking for strut bars and rear sway bar kits and came across these 2....
this is the addco rear anti-sway bar

this is an aftermarket strut bar
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
has anyone had any thoughts or experience with either one and are there better products im not finding? thanks for any help

I have practicaly the same strut bar. Allthough I can't say how well it improves handling on it's own. Because I mounted it when I was getting the megans under too.
But for a price like that, you can't go wrong in my opinion.

in all honesty, the strut bar wont really DO anything as far as the suspension is concerned because of the fact that LS' have double wishbone suspension all around, which places little load on the shock tower as the spring and shock share the load separately....it does help tie the chassis together over bumper though.

I have ADDCO and it made a nice difference - I run Bilstein HD with H&R and other stuff like poly inserts to increase spring rate, etc. I imagine that with Megan's you may not need the ADDCO since you have so many adjustment settings, etc.
If you go with it be prepared to have to drill out the holes for your end links unless they changed this design flaw. Also you may have to modify mounting brackets as I did to make them fit in OEM holes. I contacted them and talked with a slacker engineer. I offered to help them design properly and he declined.
I would go with Megan's then see if you even need it.
It did make a nice difference in my car though.
I also have Tom's STB. It no doubt makes a nice difference for me - stiffens the chasis, etc. I took it off and noticed a difference.
